You can add your own custom Tags in Expensify, and with the ‘Control’ Policy Type you can also use Tag GL Codes. Both ‘Tags’ and ‘Tag GL Codes’ can be mapped to:
- GL Accounting Variables in AS
- Projects in AS
- Project Tasks in AS
- Salesforce Products
As with Category Mappings, values of the Tags and Tag GL Codes in Expensify can be mapped to:
- The NAME of the Accounting Variables, Project, Project Task or Product
- The UID of the Accounting Variable
- the Salesforce ID of the Accounting Variable
NB: You can use Tag and Tag GL to populate hierarchical Accounting Variables – so the user selects a SINGLE Tag with maps to TWO Accounting Variables.
